MILL VALLEY, CA — Local wealthy white progressive Graham Whitlock-Price, 52, told reporters Friday that he remains disgusted that it is still possible, in 2026, for wealthy white people to exist.

"Look around," said Whitlock-Price, gesturing from the deck of his third home. "They're everywhere. They're on the school board. They're at the farmers market. One of them owns this house."

Whitlock-Price said he has spent years fighting the problem, including donating to several organizations, attending a weekend workshop in Sedona, and changing his profile picture twice. Despite these efforts, he said, the number of wealthy white people in his household has held steady at four.

Asked whether he had considered giving away his own money, Whitlock-Price said he did not want to take the easy way out. "That would solve it for one guy," he said. "I'm talking about systemic change, which is much slower and doesn't involve my accounts."

His wife, Allison, said she shares her husband's disgust and has expressed it at two fundraising dinners this month, at $5,000 a plate.

At press time, Whitlock-Price had hired a consultant, also wealthy and white, to help him understand why the problem persists.
